Slow Holiday Week!

The market closed early on Tuesday (pre-holiday), remained closed on Wednesday July 4th (Holiday), and most of the traders were absent Thursday and Friday (post-holiday) so we can pretty much ignore whatever happened as meaningless.

The only note of interest in this holiday shortened week was the strength in oil as reflected by the rise in XOM.

Whatever the market has in mind will be revealed starting with the opening on Monday.
